Below are some answers to questions you may have about Sunday’s service at Deep Creek Baptist Church.
What is happening with the service during COVID-19?
When the weather permits, we are meeting outside under a tent behind the parking lot. You may sit in your car or bring a chair to use. If necessary, we will meet indoors wearing masks and allowing for social distancing.
What should I wear?
Come as you are. We believe the heart has greater importance than the exterior. Come as you are.
About how long is the service?
We begin at 10:00 am and get out at 11:00 am.
Is there somewhere for my kids to go?
We have a staffed nursery. Also for ages Pre-k – 3rd grade we offer children’s church following the singing portion of the service.
What kind of music do you have?
We are more traditional. We have some contemporary elements, but by and large we are pretty simple in our worship music with a piano and organ.
How long are the sermons?
The pastor will typically preach for about 40 minutes.
Will I feel welcome?
Absolutely. Our members love meeting new people and you will be welcomed and accepted at once.
